Accident in Tirana, the vehicle hits two cyclists at the Sauk overpass

 An accident occurred this afternoon at the Sauk overpass in Tirana where two cyclists were hit by a vehicle, and were injured, but thankfully out of danger for life.

The injured were taken to the hospital while being cared for by doctors. They were hit by the vehicle driven by S.K.

Tirana / Preliminary information

On May 22, 2020, at around 17:00 pm, at the Sauk overpass, the vehicle was driven by the citizen S.K hit and two cyclists who were circulating nearby, who were immediately taken to the hospital, and are under the care of doctors.

The investigative group and the Police services are at the scene and work is underway to clarify the circumstances of the event.

We recall that the Municipality of Tirana has built many kilometers of bicycle lanes recently, and perhaps this is one of the reasons why bicycle accidents are happening these days..
