A 20-year-old woman hangs herself in Korça, has been raped by her cousin last year

A 20-year-old woman from the village of Orman was found hanged in her apartment. Sources suggest that the victim was found inside the apartment by her family members.

While some details have been revealed by the serious event that took place in Korça.

Police sources told to media that a year ago the young woman had denounced her uncle's son for raping her.

The same sources add that her uncle's son was convicted at the time for the criminal offense of "sexual harassment", while he is currently serving a sentence of "house arrest".

The 20-year-old hanged herself at noon today in her apartment, while it is not known if this case has affected the extreme act. While police are still working and questioning relatives and family members.
