The US will provide $ 800,000 to repair the Kruja Castle

 The United States has provided a 4.9m-euro grant to assist Albania in the process of rebuilding after the severe earthquake of November 26 that left 51 people dead and thousands more lost their homes.

Part of the US grant is expected to go towards repairing damage caused to historic sites in Kruja, Durres and Tirana.

One of them is the Castle of Kruja, where today the ambassador, Yuri Kim, during a meeting with the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, confirmed that the US will spend 800 thousand dollars to repair the damages caused by the earthquake.

In addition to the Kruja Fortress, which remains one of the most visited sites by foreign and domestic tourists, the US fund will also go towards repairing damage to historic sites in Durres and Preza.
