Some Albanians suspected of trafficking cocaine to various European countries have appeared before an Italian Court.

Armand Cuni, Mario Kelmendi, Fatjan Sopi and Rudenc Medolli appeared before the Italian court sometime after they were caught in the act of transporting narcotics. Charges were read at this hearing, and the trial will continue during the Summer.

The head of the cocaine gang is considered Armand Cuni, with the other members being Mario Kelmendi, Fatjan Sopi, and Rudenc Medolli. Because of the summary judgment, they will receive a third of their sentence. This is because the accused have accepted their criminal activity, Italian media reports.

The group had been under observation by the Rome Antimafia District Directorate for months, with members arrested at June 13 by the Carabinieri.

According to the indictment, the group was well-organized, with drug trafficking going from Albania, Tuscany and beyond to Belgium. The drug was best packaged in doses and stored well enough in doses to be sold to users. The narcotic substance was distributed secretly in different areas of Italy.
