Rama: Albania to continue to shelter the Mojahedin people, it's part of our tradition

 Edi Rama
Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke from Brussels about Tehran's threats to Albania following the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleiman by the US military.

During a press conference with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, Rama said that Albania has sheltered the Mojahedin and will continue to do so because humanity is part of this country's tradition, and has also brought to its attention the help given to Jews after World War II.

"Albania has agreed to give shelter to the thousands of people whose lives have been threatened by the Tehran regime. It is part of what we are, of our tradition. We were the only country that had more Jews after World War II and our country was a safe home for them.

We have also done this as a humanitarian operation. We will not change our traditions and our approach to these people. As for the wrongdoing in Albania, we have expelled diplomats and other people who are out of regular diplomatic activity,” Rama said among other things.
