42-year old Gulenist in Tirana, Harun Çelik to be deported in Turkey just after completed the sentence

A Turkish citizen, a 42-year-old supporter of the Gülen movement, having ended his sentence in Albania, has been illegally detained and is being held at the Border and Migration Directorate in Tirana.

Oculus News discovered that the Turkish citizen has been detained in Rinas 5 months ago while in transit in Tirana Airport with a fake Canadian passport. He has served his sentence in our country for 5 months, and today has been announced that his sentence has ended.

Sources specify that the 42-year-old Turkish man has been released from the 302 Prison in Tirana without legal procedures for his release. The jail director allegedly failed to comply with a court order to release the Turkish citizen under regular procedures. While they immediately took him from 302 Prison and started the procedures for his deportation from Albania.

Referring again to reliable sources, Harun Çelik from the Directorate of Migration is leaving urgently to Rinas, where Albanian state authorities are deporting him out of his will to send him to Turkey, where he is being persecuted by the Turkish state.

The Democratic Party of Albania (DPA) has also reacted to this event.

"While the media is reporting with concern about the extradition of a Turkish citizen according to them in violation of the law, there is no explanation of why there is no information by the state institutions on this event.

The silence and choice of January 1 for this action compels us to demand immediate transparency about what is happening, and to answer if the authorities' actions are in line with applicable laws, international conventions and human rights?

It is a priority for any democratic country, especially in the process of European integration, to respect these principles, rights, and obligations. Their breach has become a rule for the corrupt and incriminated Edi Rama government." DPA writes on Twitter.
