Albanian children and teachers in Madrid
Yesterday has been opened the first Albanian language school in Madrid, Spain, which started its program under the auspices of teacher Flora Andona Sallabanda and with the support of Ambassador Gazmend Barbullushi. In a Facebook post on the 'Albanians in Spain' page, he posted photos of the activity held yesterday, where we see happy children with Albanian books in their hands. This is good news for all children and immigrants who now have the opportunity to learn Albanian.

Status of 'Albanians in Spain'

“Today was a special day for Albanians in Spain !!

On November 24, 2019, the Albanian Classrooms opened for the first time in Spain. For us, it is a historic day and a long-awaited event for all Albanians. Now the kids in Madrid, and hopefully still, will have a corner to talk and play with each other in Albanian.

On this first day, families from all Albanian speaking regions, from Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia, had the opportunity to come. We were thrilled to hear that there were families who had come from the most remote parts of Spain only to not miss this special day.

Thank you very much Flora Andona Sallabanda for the emotions you conveyed to us today.

We thank the Embassy of Albania in Madrid and the Ambassador Gazmend Barbullushi for their continued and institutional support.
Of course members of the Association of Albanians in Spain, Altin Hyseni, Eridona Brahaj and Edland Graci.

We wish such activities from time to time in the future."
