 By 2020, there will be no more plastic bags in Albania. Environment and Tourism Minister Blendi Klosi announced during an action to clean up Dajti Mountain.

By 2020 there will be no more plastic bag production. The promise was made by Environment and Tourism Minister Blendi Klosi, who along with the youth of "Smile Albania" participated in a clean-up action held in Dajti Mountain.

“In our operation 'Clean and Green 2020' one of the important points has been the elimination of plastic bags, so within this year we will pass a law that will limit in the spring of 2020 the plastic bags in our country and within 2020 the elimination of plastic bags, all the plastic bags”.

Minister Klosi called on the local government and civil society organizations to become aware and contribute to a cleaner environment.
