US Ambassador kate Byrnes began her diplomatic mission in Skopje

 Following Jess Baily in North Macedonia has deployed the new ambassador, Kate Byrnes, who at the US Embassy in Skopje has been hosted by Micaela Schweitzer-Bluhm. Byrnes is a career diplomat, with 24 years of experience. He has worked so far as a public relations consultant at the US Embassy in Madrid-Spain, a former civilian representative at the State Department in at Xhalalabad-Afghanistan Airport and consultant for public relations at the US- NATO membership.

Byrnes holds a masters degree by George Town University in Washington. She speaks Spanish, Hungarian and Turkish languages.

Byrnes is actively involved in expressing US attitudes over the past two years involving the political crisis caused by Ivanov not to give Zaev the mandate until April 27th.

Kate Marie Byrnes was the deputy chief of the US mission in the OSCE. Precisely from Vienna, in some cases, it transmitted the position of the American administration in the context of the political crisis.

It is expected to hold a five-year term in Macedonia, whereas today she has been addressing the employees in the embassy.
