The second man of the Holy See in Pristina: will Vatican recognise Kosovo?!

 The Vatican Secretary of State, the Cardinal Pietro Parolin, will stay for two days in Kosovo, where he will visit Pristina and Prizren. Members of the Catholic Church in Kosovo see this visit as an opportunity to change the attitude of recognizing the Kosovo's independence. In a statement to Kosovo media, Bishop's Vicar Don Lush Gjergji gives some details of the visit.

The Secretary of State of the Vatican, whom many see as the next Pope, is expected to attend two masses in Pristina and Prizren during his stay in Kosovo. In Kosovo, it is hoped that this visit will bring political messages that can influence Kosovo's recognition by the Vatican.

Don Lush Gjergji in a statement to Kosovo press announced that this visit comes after the promulgation of the Pope's Decree on the Bishopric of Prizren and Pristina.

"It is public his visit here, the apostolic delegate of the Pope has been here also earlier, where the Pope's Decree on the Proclamation of the Bishopric of Prizren-Pristina was made public. Cardinal Pietro Parolin comes for a visit after the announcement and has also been the re-ordination of the old Cathedral that has been repaired in Pristina," he said among ther things.

According to Don Lush George, he will come to Kosovo next Saturday, while Sunday will have a wafer at Cathedral Mother Teresa in Pristina as well as in Prizren, and Monday he will leave Kosovo.
