Within 5 years, over 170,000 citizens fled Kosovo

According to official data, within 5 years, over 170,000 citizens left Kosovo.

Representatives of human rights organizations say that this number in reality is even greater. According to them, the removal of these citizens from the country is quite disturbing and the only reason is the struggle for existence.

According to a report published a few days ago by the Ministry of Internal Affairs it is stated that for the period 2013-2017, on average, per year migrated up to 35 thousand citizens of Kosovo.

Over this period, according to these data, more than 170,000 citizens have emigrated.

At the Council for the Defense of Human Rights and Freedoms say no one in Kosovo can say the exact figure of those who, for subjective reasons, have been forced to leave Kosovo.

The largest number of citizens who have migrated from the country in the last ten years was during 2015 when in Kosovo emigrated over 75 thousand citizens.
