Turkish and Russian warships conducted joint training in the Black Sea

 Turkey's Naval Forces along with the Russian Black Sea Fleet held a joint exercises in the Black Sea.

Russia's Black Sea Fleet Information Assurance Commander Aleksey Rulyev stated that "The crew of two warships from the bases 'Novorossiysk', namely the patrol vessel 'Vasiliy Bikov' and the Valentin Picul mine warship along with the Turkish Burgaz' s crew and the Akçay mine warship held a joint military exercises.

"Both ship crews ran training in the Black Sea," Rulyev said.

The Turkish Naval Forces in the framework of joint exercises codenamed Blue Vatan that took place on March 6-8 in the Black Sea, Mediterranean and Aegean, anchored in the Russian port Novorossiysk.
