Prostitution network of Albanian and Romanian girls demolished in Greece

 

 Greek police, ELAS announced on Monday the arrest of 14 suspected persons of creating a group of prostitution, which "employed" mainly 20-year-old girls. Is said this group recruited young women in bars and nightclubs in various parts of Athens, and the prostitution is exercised in luxury hotels in the area, the Hellenic newspaper "Ekathimerini" writes.

Investigators found evidence that 45 women had worked for the band in the last three months, performing an average of 30 "meetings" on a day with a minimum payment amounting to 130 euros. Most of the amount was taken by tutors, while the prostitutes received less than half of the money.

Greek police said most girls had agreed to be recruited by the prostitution gang, believing they would have a better life and would have more economic income.

The girls were recruited from countries like Albania, Romania, Moldova, etc. Greece's police forces had long been observing the prostitute gang activity until arrested its leading "dome" and its members.
