Edi Rama: Albanian politicians to be arrested soon, SMI does not wants the Justice Reform
Edi Rama

The Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned yesterday that Albanian politicians will be arrested soon.

During a meeting in Lushnja within the tour "The City We Want", Rama said that the real fruits of the Justice Reform have not yet been seen. According to him, the Vetting is in the first stage, since there will be arrests both at the level of judges and prosecutors, as well as at the level of government and politicians. He added that this is why the opposition gave up their mandates.

The head of government attacked even the Albanian President Ilir Meta, as according to him, the Socialist Movement for Integration (the party foundet by Ilir Meta) does not wanted the Justice Reform by the time when they were in coalition with the Socialist Party, thus in 2016 the coalition is demolished. "We do not retreat from the obligation we have taken under the election contract to bring the reform to an end.

The 'big Rabbit of fears of those who fled the Parliament and go to protests sleeps there, while they were inside the Parliament. I guess they are hiding among the people when the day comes to account for justice. Many people today are impatient and upset because expects some to be where they have the place (in jail) for all they have done. In the system where we are, the government does not act, but the justice.

We did what we needed and cannot be imagined before. We have started a reform that we were about to break the government with those iin coalition (SMI) because they did not want the Justice Reform," Rama said. The head of government stated that for the first time there will be arrests in the ranks of corrupt judges and prosecutors.
