Hashim Thaci may be invited Hague for War Crimes according Swedish radio

 The main Swedish radio, sverigesradio.se, reported last week that  Kosovo President Hashim Thaci would be invited by the Special Court. It has reported that some of the former war leaders, including Rrustem Mustafa and Sami Lushtaku, have been summoned as war crimes suspects.

No indictment has yet been filed regarding the investigations that have taken place in the last four years, according gazetaexpress

"In Kosovo, we have nothing to hide," said President Thaci last year, in an interview in Sweden.

This radio writes that Thaci is one of the people who may be subject to the Special Court.

President Hashim Thaci during the war had the leadership position of the KLA until after the war, when the crimes are committed, held the position of the Head of the Provisional Government who had all the mechanisms including the Ministries of Information Service.

The Swedish radio writes that the  KLA fought against Serbia for independence while its former leaders are in charge of the state, including the position of the President, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Assembly.

This Radio says that many witnesses have changed statements throughout different processes while others have been frightened and eliminated.

In the Kosovo war, 13,000 Albanians were killed, 1 million were expelled, 20,000 Kosovar men and women were raped.
