The Bank of Albania will keep unchanged the base rate of interest.
This news was given by the Governor of the Bank of Albania himself, Gent Sejko, at a press conference held on Monday afternoon."The Economic growth for 2018 is satisfactory. The Bank of Albania keeps the base rate of interest and the interest rates on loans unchanged. The growth of the base rate of interest will not occur before the second quarter of 2019. The Bank of Albania will continue to monitor the exchange rate. In 2018, the growth in employment and wages as well as economic growth has been satisfactory," Sejko said.
