€ 2 million worth of cannabis ready for market, two Albanians arrested in Istanbul

 Two Albanians, one of whom from Kosovo, were arrested by Istanbul police as they tried to throw on the market 200 kg of skunk cannabis.

The Turkish newspaper "Milliyet" said that the drugs were introduced in Turkey by the 27-year-old, D.R. from Kosovo and the 33-year-old J.A. from Albania. 

According to Turkish media, the two arrested were part of an international drug network based in Albania, while the market value of the drug caught was over 2 million of euros.

Reportedly the drugs entered Turkey by land and was hidden at an address in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul.

The Albanian traffickers had divided the cannabis in packages and had prepared for distribuiting in the market at the moment of the arrest.
