 During his stay in Albania, McCain held a meeting with the President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Maryam Rajavi.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the latest developments in Iran, the situation in the Middle East and prospects for the future.

Before the meeting, Senator McCain visited one of the centers where mujahidin people are housed. He congratulated their successful transfer from Iraq and praised the perseverance and sacrifices of the resistance members.

"There is no doubt that many people in this room have suffered great loss of people due to Iranian tyranny. But you're raised again, you have fought and sacrificed for freedom, for your future," said McCain.

Further, Senator addressed mujahidin with gratitude notes of how they are now a model for the world.

McCain thanked the Albanian government to accept the mujahideen, and assessed the leadership of Mrs. Rajavi, stressing that Iran one day will be free and together we will gather in Freedom Square in Tehran.

During the meeting, Mrs. Rajavi thanked Senator McCain for his efforts to secure the transfer of the mujahideen.

President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran stated that regime change in Iran is not simply necessary to end the flagrant violations of human rights, but also the disappearance of war and crisis, the establishment of peace and tranquility in the region .

Mrs. Rajavi added that the Iranian people and resistance are more determined and prepared than ever to overthrow the government and establish democracy and national sovereignty in Iran./Oculus News
