Albania will host this year for the first time competitors from 50 countries the 9th world championship of parachuting that will be held from May 5 to 14.
Alket Islam, a professional parachutist stressed the importance of this activity for the promotion of Albanian tourism in an interview for RTSH. Therefore was chosen Vlora city where competitions will take place in the air, in Cold Water area.
The Mayor of Vlora Dritan Leli expressed his commitment that will work seriously for a serious organization where all the needs of this particular activity will be achieved.The pilots will be from also from countries such as China, the US or Russia who have the most popular teams.
