Erdogan: I Grew up in the hands of an Albanian mother

 Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, spoke at a press conference after meet the Albanian counterpart, Bujar Nishani

Erdogan said that Albania is a key country for stability in the Balkans. Turkish President talked about his childhood which, according to him, has close emotional ties with Albanians, writes haberturk.com.

"In the place where I was born, the first neighbors were Albanians. I can say that I grew up in the hands of an Albanian mother. Was a wonderful family and I thank them for the care they had on me as a child," said Erdogan.

Erdogan mentioned Turkish investments in Albania, saying it amounted to about 3 billion euros, while there was also a thanksgiving for Nishani.

"We thank the President Nishani for his support in the fight against Fethullah Gülen".

Erdogan said further that would make everything to protect Albania, while adding that will invest more in the education system.
