Albanian Students Reject Democratic Party Supporters' Attempt to Join Protest Outside Education Ministry

Tensions broke out outside Albania's Ministry of Education after supporters of the Democratic Party (PD) attempted to join a student protest but were rejected by the demonstrators.

The students opposed the involvement of political representatives, insisting that the demonstration must remain independent and maintain its original character.

“If anyone is trying to disrupt this protest, we will throw them in the bin,” one female protester said, warning that the demonstrators would not allow anyone to undermine the purpose of their gathering.

The incident was accompanied by verbal confrontations between the students and PD supporters, highlighting the protesters' determination to keep political parties out of their movement.

The students' position was clear: their protest should remain focused on their demands, without being turned into a platform for political parties.
