A shocking incident has shaken the Rodopi region of northern Greece, where a 53-year-old Albanian man is suspected of fatally stabbing his wife following a violent confrontation inside their home.

The couple, both of Albanian origin and parents of three children, reportedly became involved in an argument that quickly escalated into violence. According to preliminary information, the 53-year-old allegedly attacked his wife with a knife, causing severe injuries.
Tragedy Unfolds in Front of Their Children
The case is even more devastating because the attack is believed to have occurred in the presence of the couple's children.
The family's eldest daughter reportedly contacted Greek police and called for help after the situation inside the home escalated.
Police officers and emergency crews rushed to the scene, while the injured woman was transported urgently to hospital. Despite doctors' efforts, she succumbed to her injuries and died.
The couple reportedly had three children—two adults and one 16-year-old.
