Two German tourists who had been reported missing in the Polis mountain region of Librazhd have been found safe and in good health after an intensive search operation that lasted approximately 27 hours.
According to sources from the area and Albanian police official report, the two women encountered mechanical problems with their vehicle while traveling through the mountainous terrain of Polis. Faced with a vehicle breakdown and limited options for assistance, they decided to leave the car behind and continue their journey on foot.
