Teuta women’s team has made history by winning the Albanian Women’s Cup for the first time after a narrow 1-0 victory against Apolonia in the final held in Tirana.
The historic final took place at the “Shtëpia e Futbollit” in the afternoon, where Teuta secured a landmark triumph thanks to a decisive second-half goal.
The match was tightly contested from the opening minutes, with both sides creating early chances. Teuta started more aggressively, with Vishkulli leading attacking efforts, while Da Silva came close to breaking the deadlock but was denied by a crucial clearance off the line from Xhindole.
