The graduation ceremony took place at the “House of Football” in Tirana, with the presence of FSHF Executive Committee member Abdyl Kuriu and representatives from the FSHF Education Department, who supervised and supported the program’s implementation. The course was designed to ensure high professional standards and to equip new coaches with the latest UEFA methodologies and practices in modern football coaching.
Three Months of Intensive Training
The course spanned approximately three months, divided into several study and practical sessions. All lessons and workshops were conducted at the FSHF School of Education in Kamëz, under the supervision of experienced instructors from the Education Department.
Throughout the program, participants attended theoretical lectures, tactical analysis sessions, and field-based practical exercises focusing on player development, match preparation, communication, and leadership. The FSHF’s continuous investment in coach education reflects its long-term vision to improve the technical level of football across all categories in Albania.
Former National Team Players Among Graduates
This year’s group of UEFA B graduates included several former Albanian national team players, such as Taulant Xhaka and Ahmed Januzi, along with well-known names from domestic football like Arbër Çyrbja, Ardit Peposhi, Arsid Kruja, Jasmin Rraboshta, Alked Çelhaka, and others. Their participation underlines a growing trend of professional players transitioning into coaching roles, contributing their on-field experience to the next generation.
Taulant Xhaka: “Now begins a new chapter as a coach”

Asked about his future plans, the former midfielder responded modestly:
“It’s difficult to say right now, but I’ll start with the youth teams. I’ve been a player, now I’m becoming a coach — two completely different roles. I hope to continue this journey alongside my brother Granit, with him as the number one and me as his assistant.”
Xhaka also revealed that he plans to continue his professional development, stating:
“Today I finished the UEFA B course, and in January, I’ll begin the UEFA A course.”
Finally, Xhaka shared his thoughts on the Albanian National Team, for which he proudly played for several years.
“I believe the national team will achieve great results. Against Andorra, surely a win, and hopefully a draw against England. I hope we progress to the next stage.”
Ahmed Januzi Praises the Program and FSHF’s Support
Another familiar face in the group, Ahmed Januzi, also a former Albanian international, expressed his gratitude for the experience and the opportunity provided by FSHF.
“This edition went very well. It’s a pleasure to share this journey with my colleagues — to socialize, create new friendships, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. We’re still beginners in this profession, and it’s a fantastic opportunity,” said Januzi.

He added a special word of thanks to the Albanian Football Association:
“A big thank-you to FSHF for making this experience possible and for continuously supporting both current and former players, as well as those in the top divisions and the national team. Their support in education and professional development is invaluable.”
When asked about the Albanian National Team’s recent performances in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Januzi was optimistic:
“The boys have done an amazing job so far. They’ve shown great quality and talent. The entire Albanian nation is behind them. It’s still early to speak of big success, but they’re very close — and I hope they achieve it.”
FSHF’s Commitment to Coach Education
The Albanian Football Association has consistently emphasized the importance of developing qualified coaches as a foundation for long-term success. Through the UEFA B and A license programs, FSHF aims to raise the technical and tactical standards of coaches across Albania, aligning domestic football with European benchmarks.
By organizing structured courses and continuous education programs, the FSHF ensures that both current and former players are provided with the tools needed to transition successfully into coaching careers — from grassroots levels to professional teams.
The participation of notable figures such as Taulant Xhaka and Ahmed Januzi not only adds visibility to these initiatives but also inspires younger generations of players to invest in their education and personal growth within the sport.
