A Fresh Start and an Easy Choice

Speaking to Torino's official channels, Kristjan Asllani expressed his immediate connection with the new club. "I was looking for a project like this," he stated. "Everyone here believes in me. It was an easy choice, even though the final days of the transfer window were stressful."

The 22-year-old midfielder found a welcoming environment from the start. "I found a healthy locker room with great guys," Asllani added. "They welcomed me so well. Together, we can achieve great things."

On-Field Goals and a New Role

Beyond his excitement for the new team, Asllani also has clear personal goals. Known for his free-kick expertise, he aims to make a significant impact on the pitch. "I have the characteristic of being a good free-kick taker," he said. "I want to score three or four goals to help the team."

This move to Torino offers him the opportunity to be a central figure, a role he is eager to embrace. He also hopes to use his experience to help develop the club's younger talent.

From Empoli to a New Beginning

Asllani reflected on his journey, recalling the crucial steps that led him to this point. "Empoli was a fundamental step in my career, and I also won the Primavera championship there," he shared. His time there prepared him for the leap to one of Italy's biggest clubs.

Joining Inter was a dream come true for the midfielder. "Then Inter called me, and for a Nerazzurri fan like me, it was impossible to say no," he said. "Playing with that jersey was incredible. We won the second-star Scudetto, and I also grew as a man."

Now at Torino, Asllani aims to pay forward the mentorship he received. He wants to be for the young players at his new club what stars like Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Nicolò Barella were for him—"two examples on and off the field."

Asllani's arrival marks a significant statement for both the player and the club. With his technical skill and a deep desire to prove himself, he is ready to take on a leadership role and help Torino achieve its ambitions this season.
