Fortesa Berisha has taken a major step forward in her football career by signing with Italian side Como, a team competing in the top tier of women’s football in Italy, Serie A.
The news was officially confirmed by her former club, KFF Malisheva, which hailed the transfer as a historic moment both for the club and for women's football in the town of Malishevë. In a heartfelt statement, the club expressed immense pride in Berisha’s achievement:
"With hearts full of pride, we announce that Fortesa Berisha, one of the best players our football has ever produced, is continuing her dream by moving from KFF Malisheva to Como in Italy, one of the strongest leagues in the world. In addition to KFF Malisheva, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina,” where Berisha is currently pursuing her studies, also congratulated her on this milestone.
