The Albanian U-17 national football team will take part in the “Syrenka Cup Tournament U-17”, scheduled to be held in Warsaw from September 4 to 9, 2025.
The Syrenka Cup is an annual international friendly tournament for U-17 national teams, traditionally organized in Poland. This year’s edition will feature four participants: Albania, Poland, Romania, and Norway.
For Albania, the tournament carries special importance as it serves as preparation ahead of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifiers for Estonia 2026. In the qualifying round, Albania has been drawn in Group 8, alongside Croatia, the Netherlands, and Kazakhstan.
All qualifying matches of this group will take place in Croatia on November 11, 14, and 17, 2025.
With the Syrenka Cup offering valuable international experience, Albania’s young talents will look to gain momentum and strengthen their squad ahead of the crucial European qualifiers.
