Albania to Face Gibraltar for the First Time in September Friendly

A friendly between Albania and Gibraltar had originally been scheduled back in 2020 at the “Elbasan Arena” stadium, but it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, which made the organization of the match and the teams’ travel impossible.

The September 4 clash will take place at the “Europa Point” Stadium in Gibraltar, kicking off at 18:00 local time.

Following this match, the Red and Blacks will return to Tirana for their second game of the month, facing Latvia on September 9 at the “Air Albania” Stadium. The match against Latvia will be part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
