Daniela Kodra Appointed as New Head Coach of Albania U-19 Women’s National Team

The Albanian Football Association has officially appointed Daniela Kodra as the new head coach of the Albania U-19 Women’s National Team. The Tirana-born coach takes over the role with a solid background in women’s football development and national team experience.

Kodra has previously served as the assistant coach of Albania’s senior women’s national team, as well as the head coach of the U-15 girls’ team, demonstrating her commitment and expertise in nurturing young talent.

She replaces Luçije Gjini, who has now moved up to join the senior national team’s coaching staff as an assistant coach. Gjini’s transition opens a new chapter for the U-19 squad under Kodra’s leadership.

The appointment marks a continued effort by the Albanian Football Association to invest in the growth of women’s football, providing leadership roles to experienced professionals like Kodra who have actively contributed to the development of the sport at both youth and senior levels.
