German Tourist Dies During Visit to Butrint Castle in Southern Albania

 A tragic incident occurred this morning at the archaeological site of Butrint Castle, one of Albania's most renowned historical and tourist attractions, located in the southern part of the country. A German tourist, approximately 75 years old, passed away while visiting the site.

According to preliminary information from the Sarandë Police, the cause of death is believed to be natural health complications, with authorities examining the possibility of a heart attack potentially triggered by the high temperatures in the area.

Emergency services, including police units and an investigative team, responded immediately to the scene and are currently working to document the full circumstances surrounding the case.
