According to the official statement, the Albanian nationals arrived safely in Athens in the early morning hours and are reported to be in good health. As of now, three of them have already returned to Albania, while a fourth is expected to arrive later this evening. The fifth individual will remain in Greece, as he is a legal resident of that country.

The evacuation was made possible through close cooperation with the Greek and Bulgarian embassies in Tel Aviv, Egyptian authorities, and with the assistance of Albania’s Consul General in Lebanon. The group was first transported to Egypt after being stranded in Israel amid increasing threats to security and travel restrictions.

The Ministry emphasized that it is continuously monitoring the situation and remains committed to safeguarding the security and well-being of Albanian citizens in conflict-affected regions.
