The Serbian national football team has officially released its final 25-man squad that will travel to Tirana for the crucial World Cup 2026 qualifier against Albania. The match is scheduled to take place on June 7 at the “Arena Kombëtare” stadium in the Albanian capital.
From the preliminary list of 29 players, head coach Dragan Stojković has decided to exclude four players: Mirko Topić, Milutin Vidosavljević, Petar Stanić, and Torino midfielder Ivan Ilić. While the first three are currently playing in the Serbian domestic league, the most notable omission is Ilić, who has been a key figure in Serbia’s midfield in recent years and currently competes in Italy’s Serie A.
