The agreement was signed in Pristina by KSF Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and Major General John Phillips, Director of Communications and Cyber at the U.S. European Command (EUCOM).

The U.S. Embassy in Pristina hailed the agreement as a major milestone in advancing bilateral defense cooperation. "Kosovo becomes the 33rd global partner to sign CISMOA, enhancing communications security and interoperability. A major step forward in strengthening the security of both our nations," the Embassy stated.

Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense emphasized the strategic importance of the agreement, noting that it paves the way for access to advanced defense technologies and enables the secure and encrypted exchange of sensitive data in line with top international standards.

The signing of CISMOA marks another clear step in Kosovo’s path toward full integration into Euro-Atlantic structures and the enhancement of its defense capabilities in close partnership with strategic allies.
