Egnatia Secures Back-to-Back Cup Triumphs with Gritty Win

The team from Rrogozhina shone in the match played at the "National Arena," showcasing why they topped the Superliga standings this season.

Edlir Tetova's squad found the goal in the 38th minute of the encounter after a prolonged buildup initiated by Fangaj on the right. His pass into the center found Ndreca, who made no mistake in front of his former team's goal.

Egnatia had the chance to extend their lead in the 79th minute with a penalty, but Tafas denied Fernando any opportunity to send the ball into the net.

In the end, it was the Rrogozhina faithful who celebrated, as besides securing the club's second-ever trophy, they will also receive a prize of 50 million old lekë from the Albanian Football Federation for winning the Cup.

Egnatia's victory automatically sends Tirana to the Europa Conference League, with the White and Blues finding reason to rejoice after a disappointing season where they finished in 5th place in the Superliga.
