A special collection of vintage cars from Italy has been showcased along the cobblestone streets of Gjirokastra.

The group comprised 30 vintage cars and embarked on an itinerary from Durres to Corfu. The stopover of the RETRO cars in the historic area of Gjirokastra captured the attention of present tourists, making it an interesting tour for them.
"This is the first time I've come to Albania to take a vintage car tour. I have very good impressions of Albania; we were welcomed very well, and I am very pleased with the trip here as I have seen many interesting buildings," said an Italian tourist.
"This is my first time in Albania, and I can say I will return in two months because I liked it very much. The car I have is a 30-year-old, British-made. 4 thousand cubic centimeters, very good and special," said another Italian.
"This place is wonderful, Gjirokastra is special; we did not know it before. The car I drive belonged to my father, from 1973; it has always been a part of the family," said another tourist.
The exhibition of vintage cars was organized in collaboration with the Association "Historic Cars and Motorcycles in Ancona."
During these spring days, the spacious city is being visited by a considerable number of both local and foreign tourists.
