"Pure Sport is designed by the same designer who created the Porsche 9RE, namely Qendrim Thaçi. Now, through his company Arrera Automobili, Thaçi aims to make Pure Sport the first Albanian car," announced Arrera Automobili in a Facebook post.

According to "Forbes.it," the 28-year-old Thaçi was born in Kosovo and currently resides in Germany. He has conceptualized his idea for a successor to the Porsche 918 Spyder.

In an interview with the automotive portal Motor1, Thaçi revealed that he has already assembled a team of engineers and designers to bring his vision to life.

The upcoming Illyrian Pure Sport supercar will be powered by a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine, delivering an impressive 840 horsepower. The maximum speed is expected to reach 375 kilometers per hour.

Arrera Automobili is following the lead of another regional startup, Rimac Automobile from Croatia, a manufacturer of hyper-electric cars that has attracted the attention of luxury sports car manufacturers seeking to adapt to the electric future of the industry.
