 Pilgrimage to the Monumental Cemetery of Kllogjeri
 The 79th anniversary of the Greek genocide against the Albanians of Çamëria has been commemorated through a pilgrimage to the Kllogjeri cemetery in Konsipol, organized by PDIU and the Patriotic Association "Çamëria".

Albanians from Chameria, but also other citizens were present at the Kllogjeri Cemetery, in the place where more than 2900 Chams lost their lives, who were forcibly removed from their lands, local media reports.

The chairman of PDIU, Shpëtim Idrizi, present at this pilgrimage, said that the Chams will fight for their rights. He also commented on the Kosovo issue.

At the entrance of the monumental cemetery, the memorial plaque of the Monumental Cemetery "Trëndafilat e Çamërija" Kllogjer has been placed.

These cemeteries were built in 2012-2013 in a space of 12,000 m2 which was left deserted for 68 years.

Those present at the ceremony placed flowers and wreaths at the memorial of the Cham graves..
