The artist from Argentina, Maximiliano Bagnasco, has been in Tirana for a few days working on a magnificent mural, impressive not only in size but also in the character it represents.

Maximiliano is creating a portrait of Messi, the talented Argentine footballer, and the mural has been chosen to be painted on the walls of the dormitories of the Faculty of Medicine.

In an interview on the GoodMorning Albanians show on Euronews Albania, the painter Helidon Haliti said that it would not be surprising if Messi were to come to Tirana to see his mural.

"I am convinced that Messi might come at some point to see the mural in Tirana. We Albanians know how to amaze. We have strong businessmen, we have contacts, maybe even Mr. Duka will find out. I am confident that we can make it happen. Since it is also the Year of Sports, I believe this could happen, and tomorrow Maximiliano will see how great we are," said Haliti.
