 Alvin Karaqi, who represents Albania, has won the gold medal in the European Games being held in Poland, the Albanian National Olympic Committee reports.

In the final match of the karate discipline kumite -84 kg, Karaqi defeated the Dutchman Brian Timmermans with a score of 3-2.

First, he managed to defeat the European Champion, Croatian Garibovic, and the Greek Mastrogiannis, who won a bronze medal in the last European Championship. The match ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of our athlete.

In the semifinals, Karaqi defeated the Italian Michele Martina.
