Armela Murati is the first female pilot to join the Armed Forces of Albania. Invited to Euronews Albania, she said she is more than happy to be the first female pilot and also extended an invitation to all young people who have a desire to join aviation.

"For almost a year, I have been the first female pilot in the history of the Armed Forces, and for this, I cannot be more than happy and pleased. To be part of the course, we go through several tests, and based on the qualifications we receive, the candidates who will be part of the course are determined.

This month in the armed forces has been a recruitment month, the pilot course will be opened again, and we are looking for girls and boys who are interested in the field of aviation. From my knowledge, I know that there are many applicants who have applied, and young people are interested since the conditions in the armed forces have improved quite a bit.

Compared to a year ago, it seems like a much easier job to me, now I have taken the reins and have gained security. I have experienced the air, and it is a pleasure that I cannot express in words," said pilot Armela Murati for Euronews Albania.
