The news was first announced by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel on Twitter.


He wrote that the aim of the upcoming summit is to reaffirm a reinforced commitment to the Western Balkans, which is a key priority of the European Union.

"The EU and the Western Balkans need each other," said Michel's announcement on Twitter.
