It's official: Armando Broja stays at Chelsea

Now it seems that there are no more doubts. Armando Broja will be part of Chelsea's first team for the new season.

Although there is almost a month until the end of the Summer transfer window, the London Blues have made official the numbers that all the first team footballers will wear on their shirt.

In the announcement of the club, it is also Broja who is already lined up with the first team and does not have the provisional number 39 that was given to him in the summer friendlies, but he wears his favorite number 18, the same that he wore when he played the season of spent with Southampton.

But the positive signals for Broja's stay in London don't end there. To free up this number, Chelsea have taken away English midfielder Ross Barkley, the English midfielder who wore number 18 since 2018.

In the footsteps of the Albanian footballer, there were teams with names such as Napoli, West Ham or Real Madrid, but it seems that none of the offers to his address have convinced the leaders of the Londoners to let him leave.
