Albanian gang of house thefts arrested in Milan

A gang of Albanian robbers has been handcuffed by Italian police after being accused of breaking into several apartments in Milan. The Milan prosecutor's office says that the Albanian group is responsible for a series of burglaries, while the investigations have started with the identification of a stolen car that was used by the gang to take the group to the places of the thefts and then to escape.

In this vehicle, criminals placed license plates that were occasionally stolen from other cars, to make the tracking difficult. Eavesdropping revealed that Albanians robbed 4 apartments on June 22-23, climbing from the roof.

Three Albanian nationals, aged 22, 28, and 37, were tracked inside a house in the village of Millepini in Rodano, while a fourth suspected 27-year-old member, was tracked down in an apartment in the Niguarda area, he resisted agent control but was apprehended. He later emerged that he was also charged with attempted murder in July 2021.

Police managed to find a stolen car, tools used for the thefts, a pistol, cash, jewelry, and expensive watches.
