 The port of Cyprus since the beginning of November has as a symbol a statue made by the Albanian sculptor Besim Caushi.

In a ceremony carried out by the city municipality, was inaugurated the bronze work of the Permet sculptor "Peace on Earth" (5.5m × 4.5m × 3.8m).

"Because peace is everyone's duty!!! If we want peace in this life, we must talk about peace, praise it," says Mother Teresa," said the author at the inauguration ceremony.

The sculptor Besim Caushi studied at the Artistic High School "Jordan Misja" in Tirana and then the Academy of Fine Arts (today the University of Arts). He has been living and creating for many years in Athens.
