13 fire hearths in Albania, Vlora and Gjirokastra most endangered

 There are currently 13 active fires in Albania. Many of these do not pose a threat to people's homes and lives, warn of civil emergencies.

There are still fires in Karaburun, but civil emergencies say there is no danger to homes.

Fires continue in Gjirokastra in the hearths in the Lunxhëria valley, but without danger to the houses. In the village "Arshi Lengo", the intervention continues from the air by helicopter.

There are fires in the village of Cukal, in Shkodra, also without danger to homes. Fires in Fushë-Arrëz risk spreading to residential areas.

There are other fires but without danger to the lives of people and homes in the municipality of Tepelena, the forest of the village Shetaj, in the village Manskuri in Durres. In the village of Lukan in Dibër, in the municipality of Mallakastër and in the village of Shelcan in Elbasan.

All these hearths are under the care of the Armed Forces and the Fire Service.

IGJEUM announced today that tomorrow there is a high level of fire risk in some regions, especially in Vlora and Gjirokastra.
