Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić-Radman has announced that Croatia has distributed 10,000 coronavirus vaccines to Kosovo.

Radman made this announcement in Pristina, after meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in the Government of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla.

"With special pleasure, I informed the Minister about the decision of the Government of Croatia to provide a donation of 10,000 doses of coronavirus vaccines for the Republic of Kosovo." We believe that this donation will be welcome for the protection of the people", he said in the press conference, after the meeting.

On May 4, Kosovo resumed its coronavirus vaccination campaign, following the receipt of 4,680 Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines.

This is the first part of the 95,000 doses that the European Union has allocated to Kosovo, in support of vaccination in the Western Balkans.
