Russian diplomat Alexey Krivosheev has been declared "non grata" by the Foreign Ministry of Albania, arguing that he has violated anti-Covid measures.

The announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the friendly relations with the Russian Federation have been violated by individual actions, repeated by the Russian diplomatic staff in Tirana, in non-compliance with the measures taken by the Albanian authorities, to protect the population against COVID-19.

For this reason, the Albanian Government has taken the decision to declare the diplomat Alexey Krivosheev "Person non grata", with the obligation to leave Albania within 72 hours from the moment of the announcement.
