How can Spain, Greece and Georgia play against Kosovo in group B while not recognizing it as a state?!

Kosovo is part of Group B of the World Cup qualifiers along with Spain, Sweden, Greece, and Georgia. Interesting is the fact that from this group, only Sweden recognizes Kosovo as an independent state.

According to Spanish media, the Spanish government will have a lot of diplomatic work, because, since it does not recognize Kosovo, it can not allow the Kosovo flag to be waved in Spain and the Kosovo anthem to be played. Earlier, UEFA excluded Spain U-17 from a tournament because the Iberians did not accept the flag of Kosovo.

But Alejandro Blanco, President of the Spanish Olympic Committee, explained that confronting Kosovo is not a problem, as FIFA rules are very clear: "Kosovo is accepted in all international sports organizations and therefore the rules of these organizations must be accepted. The anthem will be played normally and the flag will be unfurled normally. The fact that we do not recognize it as a state does not mean that we can not play against them."
