30 years in prison for Islam Myrtaj; killed his friend for 45,000 euros he owed

 Tirana court has sentenced Islam Myrtaj to 30 years in prison, accused of killing his friend Haxhi Baçinoz.

Myrtaj was found guilty of "premeditated murder" and "unlawful possession of a weapon". Myrtaj expressed remorse in his trial for the crime but denied it was premeditated, according to the Albanian ABC. 

The prosecution demanded 35 years in prison for Islam Myrtaj, accused of killing Haxhi Baçinozi. The serious incident happened on March 16, 2019 at the Artificial Lake in Tirana, where Baçinozi was executed at the Artificial Lake in front of his son.

Meanwhile, Myrtaj, who surrendered a few days later admitting that the crime happened due to an old debt of 45 thousand euros that Baçinozi had given to Islam Myrtaj.
